Bundala National Park is a Sri Lankan wildlife park that has been the home of many native as well a large number of migratory water birds in Sri Lanka. This is an excellent place for bird watching as Bundala houses 197 species of birds, the greatest highlight being the greater flamingo, who migrate in enormous flocks.
Apart from birds, animals like elephants, leopards, sambar, and porcupines may be observed.
